Nature shows us how things change. Why not try this French-themed Nature Make?

There is a region in the south (le sud) of France called Provence, which is famous for its fields of sunflowers (les tournesols) and lavender (la lavande). They’ve inspired famous artists (les artistes), such as Van Gogh, to paint fields of flowers (les fleurs).

1. Explore this site to find out about the super popular Tintin series of comics (and films):

Once you feel confident with the look and profiles of these characters, design your own!

Draw a head shot and a full body shot including what your character typically wears; give them a name; decide on what their personality and daily life in Belgium is like (that’s the French-speaking place where Tintin comes from!)

  2. Look out for real French on signs around Mr Bean, or what real French people say to him: Can you work out what they mean from the situation he’s in?
  3. Mr Bean does’t speak much! Can you add the French he might use in the film?
